Daily winter temperatures can range from 37°F to 80°F. In the summer, they range from 66°F to 95°F. Humidity averages about 75% daily and may lessen with rainfall. UV Rays are mild through the fall and winter and begin a steady increase beginning in April to higher levels; Always be sure to use sun protection and pack a pare of sunglasses.
Prepare yourself for rain if you are coming in the summertime, as there are generally rain showers every day, and can last for several hours at a time. The rainiest month is June with an average of 8 inches of rainfall. As Florida is a peninsula, located off the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, rain showers, thunderstorms, and hurricanes are common place. Be sure to bring rainboots, an umbrella, or a poncho to keep dry.
Florida's hurricane season lasts between June to September with it's peak typically reaching in August or September. It is always important, for this reason, to monitor the weather forecast close to your trip date.
